Free training sessions are being offered to drivers aged 65 and over who want to brush up on their skills behind the wheel.
The training is being provided by the East Lincolnshire Community Safety Partnership and the Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership as part of efforts to encourage drivers to keep up to date with changes in legislation, modern technology and good driving practice.
The programme focuses on all aspects of driving, including the law, health and safety, personal safety, in-car technology and medical issues. The training can also increase the confidence of drivers to help improve their decision making when on the road and reduce the number of accidents.

- Horncastle College on November 11, 2010.
- Mablethorpe Business Centre on November 18, 2010 and January 25, 2011.

Help With Commenting
How do I post my comments?
The comment posting system is really easy to use. Simply enter your comments in the box below and then enter your name or pseudonym and email address to post without an account, or sign in using either your Facebook, Twitter, Google or Disqus account.
Do I need to sign up to leave a comment?
No. You can post anonymously without the need to sign up for an account by entering your name in the 'or pick a name' box along with your email in the box below that. Alternatively, if you have an account with Facebook, Twitter, Google or Disqus you can log in using that (see below for details).
Can I log in using my Facebook, Twitter, Google or Disqus account?
Yes, click on the appropriate icon below where it says 'connect with' below to connect to your account.
What is the advantage to signing up for a Disqus account?
The biggest advantage is you will not have to add your details every time you want to post, whether that is at Spilsby Online or at the thousands of other websites out there that use the Disqus system.
Can I add images and videos to my posts?
Yes, so long as they are relevant to the post. Posts with irrelevant media postings will be removed.
Not all browsers support media uploads, please check that your browser is the latest version.
Are there any rules to what I can and cannot post?
So long as your post meets the site terms and conditions it should be fine. However, we do reserve the right to withdraw or moderate posts that the site management feel are inappropriate.
