Three new councillors have been co-opted onto Spilsby Town Council following the vacancies caused by the election held in May 2015.  

The selection interviews for candidates were held prior to the monthly Town Council meeting on 23 July 2015.

Controversial car parking charges introduced in Lincolnshire towns including Spilsby, Louth and Skegness are to be reviewed.

East Lindsey District Council made changes to parking, including charging at 13 car parks which were once free, from May 1, 2013.

Giant Hogweed that has caused horrific burns to youngsters has spread dramatically across Lincolnshire - and is still growing.

A new study by the Botanical Society of the British Isles has revealed the scale of the epidemic - which sees the weed growing across an area from Spalding in the south all the way up to Scunthorpe.

A former pupil has written about his memories of Halton Holegate School in a new book.

Former pupil Simon Leak has written the book based on memories of the local school which he attended between 1969 and 1972.

Local organisations delivering community projects in the area may be eligible to apply for a Community Grant from East Lindsey District Council.

The Council's 'Large Community Grants' provide a potential source of 50% grant funding of between £1,001 to £8,000 to 'Not for Profit' organisations delivering community projects in the area.
